i have changed
without regrets
ask me why? i am
meant to be
changed, as we
are all meant
to be.

i transcend
i jump over the fence
i go into greener
pastures
i have dreams of
flying
i have promises of
never coming back
to you.

when i come back
perhaps only for a while
just to show
what i have become
to make you feel
the guilt of
your shortcomings
your having not loved
me for once
and your firm resolve
not to ever love me


i will meet you again
without the necessity of
introductions
only to see you and
not even to say
goodbye.
