That Heavenly Garden Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

That Heavenly Garden

How memories take me,
To those warm summer days,
When the sun shone down,
With a gentle haze,
The sounds of the birds from treetops high,
The fine shade of blue in the morning sky.
How memories take me,
To those precious days,
Back to the good life,
In so many ways,
To moments cherished,
To moments with you,
Those fine days of summer,
That fresh morning dew.
For all that has gone now,
But memories remain,
In the garden of heaven,
We'll hold hands again.
