That Is My Wish
Wish I have wings
That of a young bird
Sturdy and full of plumes
To take me into a flight;
To a distant land
Where there is love
And peace and I will
Be blessed with divine light;
Wish I have wings
That of a young bird
With as sharp as wind
That will carry me beating
A melodious tune;
To a land of prayers and
Songs and drumbeats
That soothe the worry
Soul and to His name
My name will be hewn.
