That Old Crooked Moon Poem by Dorsey Baker

That Old Crooked Moon

Rating: 4.0

that old crooked moon
it is
looking dead at me
but I have got a secret
that I hide
one that it is
unable to see
that old crooked moon
it is so very big
it is so very bright
but something
just ain't right
that old crooked moon
it's got some wicked eyes
watching the weeping willow
as it cries
that old crooked moon
just as crooked
as it can be
but that old crooked moon
it looks
so beautiful to me

Dorsey, I like your poem very much. It has a neat twist, and the repetition works well. Thanks for sharing!
