When you hear that old rooster Crow
Then you know
That he has got some old hen
In the barnyard
Laying eggs again
That old rooster has got the spirit
He has got soul
And he has got all them old hens
In the barnyard
Completely
Under his control

That old rooster
He's on his job all the time
Because it's a very hard job
Keeping all them old hens in line

And when you hear
That old rooster crow
You know that
He has got some old hen
In the barnyard
Laying eggs again!
