That's Life Poem by Sruthi Sahadevan

That's Life

Rating: 4.8

Life’s like a tea cup,
With the dregs remaining.
It’s like an ore,
With metal and gangue.
It’s like 22 carat gold
Mixed with copper
To strengthen it.
It’s like an alloy
When two metals combine
To make a new substance.
Life’s like the horizon
Separating sky and sea.
Life’s like an ocean
Whose depths are
Yet to be explored.
Life’s like a human heart
Struggling between good and evil.
Life’s like an ice cream
Which melts if left unnoticed.
Life’s like a novel
Quite unpredictable.
Life’s like a roller coaster
Twists and turns uncountable.
Life’s like an exam
Where you can pass or fail.
