That Three Letter Word Poem by Justin Williams

I walk on carrying that three letter word.

Is it wrong? Is it so absurd?

You say it’s fine but then I don’t understand.

He’s mine and I can’t hold his hand.

Do I disgust you?

You disgust me with your cold vicious mind.

Your robust view

You don’t see it as unkind.

I didn’t choose this.

I didn’t sign the dotted line.

So don’t abuse this.

Is it not about time!

Just accept it like I had to,

and you say you understand.

But if this is true

Then why can’t I hold his hand?
