On the battlefield
young men fighting a war
it seems they never can win
The blood on their hands
they can never wash away
its kill or be killed
Brave young men on the battlefield
War is a dirty business
where only the strong survive
War is living hell
thats what war is!

You see courage
You see fear
You pray for them
and wipe a tear

War is living hell

Young men fighting a war
facing all that danger
too young to be so far
away from home
because where you don't belong
you become a stranger
