Frosted and chilled in this Arctic wind
Now bound stiff and bound determined
Shuffling along as the cold wind blows
All through the snow as our heart beat slows
This coldness between us couldn't get any worse
And I'm so afraid the wind will blow us off course
Drifting across black ice, away from each other
I see we might never be close to one another
But hopefully the sun will come out and brighten this arctic prairie
And we can get away from this place: so cold, and so dreary
Because we want to be in this world we once saw
But first we need to wait until we thaw
