The Absolute Truth Nothing Can Hide (Italian Sonnet) Poem by Gert Strydom

The Absolute Truth Nothing Can Hide (Italian Sonnet)

"It is God who alters the times and seasons, and he
removes kings. He gives wisdom to the wise
and knowledge to the discerning." Daniel 2: 21

The older I get the more I come to know
that in this life nothing is in concrete set,
circumstances come over which we fret;
God does the destiny of each person bestow,

some people do with His essence glow,
some do the evil of their passions get,
still God is present in whatever man beset,
in whatever destiny do in the pathway throw,

where God do put leaders in the right place,
do those remove that evil to mankind bring,
the right way to go do set and guide,
wickedness wants His impact to erase,
do want with darkness to touch everything,
but the absolute truth nothing can hide.
