The Air Is Fresher On The Other Side Poem by Natasha Andeyi

The Air Is Fresher On The Other Side

A dark age built behind the scenes.
Heavenly being with peace for a name, their sight to behold.
Little drop. Another ocean.
Oh the things living in this sea!
The waves by the shore, once in a while,
these were the warning signs.
But still, not a soul stopped by.

They didn't stop by, so the stop sign I stood by
Letting in the life giving things,
nothing short of life giving beings.
Given time frame in this camp I live,
why bring in life ceasing beings?
Oh I thought!

So far? Better off.
Not as I was before pinning the stop sign.
Extra ingredient by the name patience,
with support of a friend called time,
And all will be well.
Because so far?
So far the air is fresher on the other side,
Let nobody fool you!
