The Awakening - Poem by Erika Wingo

The lure of our becoming
Pulses through the universe
Our heart is the dwelling place
Of Him,
The being through which we are
And I am
Our soul is the fingerprint
Of the creator
The internal reference point of man

Our rhythm in unison
Rides the golden wavelength
From here to there
In every moment of stillness
There is the sacredness of prayer

A spiritual reawakening
Forces us to leave behind
Our old ideals unfit in
These ever changing times

Realities are shifting
Perception has become crystal clear
We are infinite spirits
Within a new awareness
Love transcends all and replaces
The lure of our becoming
Draws a new world near
