The Banned Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

The Banned

The Banned

Tired of me, my, and mine,
Search for noose, rope, a bar,
Need to wash me clean from
The shame of being mankind!

Read of streetcar
And Desire,
Read of Iranian,
His poem,
And
Read of banned,
Censored,
Was forbidden,
Surely hate them all.

The story is behind
Me, my, and mine,
With a gavel, corrupt.

And indeed, has hammer
And owns sword, dagger,
Holds and raises higher,
Using jets, drones, gunners,
While claims to be humankind!

I do not like them,
Failed fighting such power,
So, must go, break away!

Want to take shower,
In the deep seas, rivers,
And bathe in the oceans,
Need to wash this shame,
By not being such human!

Call me savage,
Call me wild,
Call me a pig,
Call me a lamb,
Call me a bull, cattle,
Even ass but not an arse!
