The Beast In Disguise Poem by Chirag Rai

The Beast In Disguise

Travel travel into the dark
You might see a little spark
A faraway cry shall seize your eyes
No savior shall ever rise

For the Beast cannot be tamed
It shall clench your soul with its flame
Be wary of what you desire
In the end there will be fire

Escape you shall never from this being
For the Beast craves the living
Meat is now what you are
Burning with the wind from afar

A trail of smoke the world will see
For your spirit shall never be free
Looking back at life you wonder
Did I really commit a blunder?

The woods were dark and ghostly
The Beast had a reason mostly
Is that what caught your eye?
Your Angel she once was, very shy

As you reach the clouds high above
Reminisce your Angel's love
For it was unconditional and pure
But you don't deserve her cure

You may have learnt to love the Beast
It doesn't matter now at the least
You had killed an Angel n ripped her apart
For that, the Beast has devoured your heart
