The Beauty Beyond The Beauty! Poem by Denis Martindale

There's precious beauty hid from sight, a Christian woman shares,
Beyond the smiles that bring delight and tenderness in prayers,
Beyond the lips that give voice to the hallowed thoughts within,
Beyond the wisdom that comes through that's meant to help her win.

There's gracious beauty in her hair beyond the colours seen,
Like waterfalls beyond compare, so vibrant, yet serene,
Her hair looks worthy of a crown that someday she could own,
A princess in her wedding gown, for her and her alone.

There's outward beauty in her style no man should steal away,
Who falls in love with her cute smile, then wonders what to say,
Yet there's a guy, she'll see walk by, who makes her heart beat fast,
And then, perhaps, she'll pause to sigh, in finding love at last.
