(the) Big Reveal Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

(the) Big Reveal

Big the reveal.
Unlocked from a stopping to block it.
Or a continuing to mock,
The enormity of proof...
Truth and its evidence,
To have been stocked.

Big the reveal.
Concealed to be hidden.
Appropriately awaiting,
For the right moment in time...
To uncover the smothering,
Of the ones undermined...
Perceiving deception,
Was not what it was.
But had been to accept.
A reflection of life to be and expect.

Yet...
The big reveal.
To peel away each layer of it.
In a process done slowly.
Seems without end.
Methodically and strategic.
Descends as if from Heaven sent.
Opening closed minds and eyes like doors.
Exposing truth and proof of its existence.
In a way that has never,
Been witnessed before.
