The Black Void Poem by Patrick Villareal

The Black Void

</> The black void resides within me growing ever so strong
Refusing to abandon me, I've been it's home for so long
The black void is so cold and damp, it shows me little affection
It just consumes what is left of me like an unrelenting infection
Just eating me away from the inside, as I sit here to decay
Wondering if something could have prevented this as I slowly wither away
Becoming lost within myself, making it impossible to get through
Taking away all serenity, that I attempt to pursue
To the black void, I am forever bound
Trapped within its core, forever to wander the never ending compound

VERY DEEP.... THE DARK PLACE IS VERY HARD TO LEAVE.... SOMETIMES ITS EASIER JUST TO STAY THERE AND NOT WORRY ABOUT EVERYTHING HAPPENING AROUND US... LOVELY WRITE...
