The Blues Poem by Ray Hansell

The Blues

Why do I
Sing the blues
Because it's not
What I'd choose

But some days
Are so bad
That it leaves
Me really sad

I'm hoping
One day soon
The sun will shine
Like it was June

So you see
Until that day
The blues I sing
Are here to stay

If you live in California, No wonder you sing the blues. Just kidding! Nicely written poem.
