The Bong Between Us



I sufficate when you speak
the words you say to me
pierce through my heart
and leave me breathless
you cut me up
place me in the bowl
you put a flame to me
smoking up my essence
I'm left as ash
inhale, exhale
you use me
abuse me
rely on me
don't take me for granted
