The Box. Poem by Tom Allport

The Box.

Rating: 5.0

I ordered a bee box
The box is locked
It is dangerous
I put my eye to the grid
Because the bees
May blameless hum
How can I let them out
I lay my ear
To furious Latin
I wonder how hungry they are
Unafraid may lift a look
They might ignore me
So need not intrude
The box.

I 'd be too afraid to lift that lid, : ) but I've always been amazed by beehives and so brave there keepers! ..

This is brilliant, Tom. I wonder what Schrodinger would say.
