The Butterflies Poem by Thomas Plotz

The Butterflies

The butterfly's cage,
There were two names
On the printed page

Two Yellow butterflies
Who decided to mingle?

Dance the flutter
Blend and bend
Yellow jingle,

The cage doors are open
The butterflies endure,
Because you're the cure

Even-though someone
Erased the name,
My love's the same,

I blame only my disabilities and inability's
For the name to remain,
Though, my love is the same

My love's the same
