The Caged Golden Bird Poem by Nidhi Rajesh Kumari

The Caged Golden Bird

Loving her is no difficulty
For, she is an angel born
She is the most beauteous
Her beauty, her golden eyes adorn.

She's the charm of the palace
The golden bird in there
But, alas, I pity her fate
She's caged without a care.

Every time she appears at the window
I gaze at her from a distant tree
Behold her, she's so angelic
The prettiest princess is she.

I wish she felt my presence
In each moment of the day
Just as I feel her around me
In the garden, on my way.

If that'd ever happen
And she'd fall for me
Life will be the best gift
For her to ever receive.

I won't promise her a palace
For, she doesn't love one, I see,
But, I'd promise her love for life,
And would set her to fly free.
