The Capital City Poem by Debendra Majhi

The Capital City

This is a Capital City,
The law emancipates from here,
To precipitate elsewhere,
The law makers converge here,
To diverge elsewhere.

This is a Capital City,
Conveyance is in circles and lines,
Even the tress have disciplined themselves
To stand-still in lines.

This is a Capital City,
Habitants are the law makers,
To make new laws,
They patronise law brokers.
