The Certainty Of Salvation

The certainty of Salvation
Is like a breath of fresh air
Your life that once was dampened by sin
Receives eternal life here!
And faith in believing the Word of God
And trusting in His own dear Son
The Holy Spirit brings it on home
Faith's victory has just begun

Hallelujah...hallelujah...hallelujah!
That the way of the Cross leads Home
The Lord Jesus Christ now as our constant Shepherd
And He's promised to never leave us alone
God gave us the Book of Life manual
And Immanuel is that name
That if someone praise God will call upon it
They will never be the same again

The certainty of Salvation
I know that I know that I know
Once I was lost in the darkness of sin
But Lord Jesus has now made me whole
He took all the sin charges against me
And nailed them to an old rugged Cross
Now I'm living in the light of the Tomb
That His Resurrection has gained for us! ! !

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
Who took on my guilt for me
And bore the shame and shed His own blood
That day there at Calvary
Now I can live rejoicingly
And rejoicingly live I do
For His wonderful grace of forgiveness
Has brought this sinner on through...

Hallelujah what a Saviour!

A stirring poem of redemption! A beautiful tribute to Jesus. Very well crafted, Gary.
