The Chaste Wives Who Stay In Proximity To Their Husbands!
Even the wide world is dilapidated and en-laced with extreme grief,
if the chaste wives with curly beautiful hair get the husband's love
and the life of non-separation, their grief will get lost
as if the mist gets dissolved in the presence of the sun!
It is said assured that the chaste wives who keep themselves
in proximity to their husbands need not worry about anything!
This poem 'The chaste wives who stay in proximity to their husbands! ' is a translation by me of a Tamil poem of Poet Mayuram Vedhanayakam Pillai.
கணவனை அகலாக் கற்பினள் எதற்கும் கலங்காள்
கலி விருத்தம்
விரியுல கழியினு மிறைகள் சூழினுஞ்
சுரிகுழல் கற்பினார் துணைவ னேயமும்
பிரிவிலா வாழ்க்கையும் பெறுவ ரேலவர்
பரிவெலாம் இரவிமுன் பனியின் நீங்குமே.21
