The Children In The House Poem by RIC BASTASA

The Children In The House

the eyelids are heavy
children need more sleep
the rain last night was long
the night was noisy on
the rooftop

this early morning the children
rush outside
they are happy
watching the rainbow

so momentary
before they pointed their fingers
it is gone
