The Chronicles Of Acid Part 1 Dead Inside Poem by David Knox

The Chronicles Of Acid Part 1 Dead Inside

Today
Ok?
Today... Today.. I say
To console my disconsolate heart
And fix what's immutably broken apart
I can't take it, i don't have pride,
Not this time...
Not in this rhyme
I'm not invincible... never saw one coming...
As I smile and walk by humming
Take a look inside
Do not chide
me, because I walk arouind happily
Dead inside... happily dead
Heart heavier than lead
The avid its all over
All around its become a part of me
I got no luck, outta luck, no 4-leaf clover
So what can I have but negativity?
I'm sorry my dear
I wish right now I could even shed a tear
But when I'm dead inside, i can only ask why
Why say I'm alive and live a lie?
Maybe for you
Maybe you love me too
That's just a fantasy I make
So the open book, the zombie, the fake
Can keep going....
