The Opal Poem by Hana Gerzanic-Hons

The Opal

Rating: 4.5

A tear once fell
Softly alone
From the eyes of love
Upon a stone...

It touched with its passion
The rock below
And remained there forever
In a mystical glow...

It engraved its longing
In the stoney embrace
Leaving behind
A precious trace...

Transformed into patterns
Of colours and gleams
Love is displaying
Her unreachable dreams...
