The Clock Tics Poem by Angel A. Lockwood

The Clock Tics

Time
I've once heard
Time is some people's
Luxury.
If that is true?
How costly to use your time on anything which doesn't profit you?
Can one pay too prolong one's
Last breath?
Can the richest of this world resurrect the dead?
There are luxuries many can afford
Yet time
Is much too precious to be spent on what is not adored
