The Comfort Zone Poem by Jocelyn Dunbar

The Comfort Zone

The hiding place of being,
The latitude of the soul
To the presence of God.

The troubles of life that were happening in experience,
Vexation of spirit, the relation of emotion
Through pain, disturbance through the mind.

Time, encircled by God's holiness,
To set free, feeding soul,
Pamper the spirit emotion.

Incense, praises, and psalm
To the wholeness being; holy water
Flow sprinkle spread all over.
Adoration of the heart to be with him.

The comforter, the protector,
The secure room to rest, to set
Free from the darkness of the world.
God delivered triumph overall.
