The Creator And I Poem by Jocelyn Dunbar

The Creator And I

I found the secret sacred place you stayed.
The mystery of you is unexplainable,
The essence is magnificent, undeniable, superb;
Can justify that your covenant is everlasting.

I seek you; you connect in my thoughts; you live in my mind.
You composed me to the structure of your plan.
You gave me knowledge and understanding.
You tough me how to obey; you showed me the result
Of an act by submitting to you, all of my experiences are
Accountable for use, to your will.

You sieve me through the hardship and confusion of life.
You test me; my weaknesses, strength, courage,
Faith, knowledge, and understanding,
But without your help and support, I can not even live.
The journey is boundless and very long.
You guide my way, in a snap of your fingers,
In the blinking of my eyes, everything changed.

You are my life, hope, and my redeemer,
Everything you think of me. You are not far away,
The truth is, you are too close enough to know you,
To talk to you. Time to spend with You, thinking of you, is
All that I was created for, to have reverence with you.
Everything in me and what I am doing will pass away,
But you, you will remain and remember forever.

My purpose, my destination, my life will go back to you.
It is my final resting place.
