The Complicated Life Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

The Complicated Life

Threads twist and tangle,
paths cross and diverge,
choices stack like stones,
some steady, some shifting beneath my weight.

Laughter and sorrow sit side by side,
hands intertwined,
neither willing to let go,
each demanding to be felt.

The heart pulls in one direction,
logic tugs in another,
while time moves forward,
never waiting for certainty.

I search for meaning in the chaos,
for stillness in the storm,
but life does not pause to explain itself-
it only asks me to keep moving.
