The Conquest Of Subjugation (Phantasmagoria Pt.2) Poem by Julian Carlos Co

The Conquest Of Subjugation (Phantasmagoria Pt.2)

Rating: 4.8

Admiration for those who have woes
For they battled for happiness,
They waged war in every part,
But the fruits of war is are bitter
each bite dissolves teeth.

Love is a sword,
It doesn't heed to its name
But the contrary,
Trust is a shield
It doesn't adjurate to the weak
But the contrary.

One day a monk prayed,
He asked "Oh God, what is the purpose of darkness? "
God came down through the monk's chamber,
"To be the shadows of those who are clouded by light".

The monk replied "Then why not stop the the people from being clouded? ".
God punched the monk,
The monk cried in pain
God then answered "Because there will be no rain".

The monk stood up with no retaliation,
He dwelled within those words,
He owned and asked, "If your almighty, why not make it rain? "
God stabbed himself and on his dying breath he whispered to the monk
"Because there will be no rainbow".

The monk then found out that it was not God,
It was merely a beggar,
He asked to himself "Why did you pretended? "
The monk saw a paper on the beggar's hand
"Because there will be no sun".

A pigeon landed and perched into his window
He carefully grasped it into his arms
The monk once again asked
"Then what is the purpose of Light? "
The pigeon replied with a scruffy voice.
"To be shadowed, to be clouded, and to be once again reborn".

Now that the monk's questions are answered,
He grabbed the cloth the beggar wore,
He snuck into the night
And talked to a king who asked
The same question he did.
