The Cosmos Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

The Cosmos

An endless stretch of stars,
scattered across the silent dark,
each one a beacon, distant, timeless,
a whisper of something ancient and vast.

Planets drift, quiet and cold,
wrapped in the dance of gravity's hold,
moons encircle in steady paths,
held by forces unseen, yet unbreakable.

Nebulae bloom, clouds of light and dust,
colorful remnants of worlds that once were
and might one day be again,
reborn from the ashes of stars.

Galaxies spiral, woven with mystery,
billions of lives spun around a hidden core,
each a universe unto itself,
bound to others in a cosmic web.

In this vastness, we are but a spark,
a fleeting moment on an endless arc,
yet somehow connected,
threads in the fabric of the cosmos itself.
