The Crisis Of Our Civilization Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

Since the very first day of this year
Unhappiness has pervaded the whole earth.
Man has gradually lost his strength and power
And become just a helpless being
Not for a month but for the whole year.

My heart cries for the helplessness of this earth.
Only You, the Almighty God, can relieve us.
Never did I witness such a crisis of our civilization.
Death has been crowned to rule the whole earth
And taking away human life one by one for a year.
Lord, our Saviour! Save us with your mighty power.
