The Cross Of Jesus Christ Poem by Gary James Smith

The Cross Of Jesus Christ

The Cross Of Jesus Christ

The Cross of Jesus Christ
Is my Hallelujah
For there...He took my place
He should mean as such to you
For great and greatly to be praised
Is our praises Initiator
Let everything that has breath...praise the Lord
Our great God and our Saviour

We've parked our faith at Calvary
Where sin had met its match
And stand redeemed by Christ's blood
To the glory of His Cross
Mercy...grace...abundant free!
Faith has its recompense
To every soul that trust's in Christ
In genuine repentance

Your Hallelujah is ready for the taking
Don't leave off without praise
Wouldn't it be wonderful to meet the Saviour
And into His loving eyes gaze
What's your hope for tomorrow?
You can make it your goal today
Seek ye the Lord while He may be found
And a Hallelujah will come your way! ! !

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
