The Cry Of Sudan Poem by Yousif Ibrahim Abubaker Abdalla

The Cry Of Sudan

O Allah, have mercy hear our plea,
O Allah, have mercy set us free.
For the brave martyrs of Sudan, so steadfast and true,
Embrace their souls as they return to You.
O Allah, have mercy hear our plea.
They knew their lives were Yours to hold,
No fear could ever dim their bold.
They kept their promise, shining so bright,
And gave themselves for what is just and right,
They knew their lives were Yours to hold.
O Allah, have mercy heal our pain,
Restore what's lost, bring hope once again.
Lift every wounded heart to find peace,
And grant their suffering a sweet release.
O Allah, have mercy heal our pain.
O Allah, have mercy end the fight,
Bring back the calm, restore all life.
Let justice rise, let truth shine bright,
And quiet every trembling fright
O Allah, have mercy end the fight.
Make our steps steady, don't let us fall,
Be our support, our strength, our all.
Protect the land and those who stand,
With courage held firmly in their hand,
Make our steps steady, don't let us fall.
O Allah, have mercy grant us light,
Through the darkest hours, be our sight.
Write a bright future for this land,
With peace, with dignity, with a steady hand.
O Allah, have mercy grant us light.
