The Dalit Priestess Of My Heart (There Must Be Somebody, Someone To Worship) Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Dalit Priestess Of My Heart (There Must Be Somebody, Someone To Worship)

The Dalit priestess,
The Dalit priestess of my heart,
Who is the girl
Coming to worship with
Love and reverence,
The Dalit priestess,
The Dalit priestess of my heart
On whom die I,
Die I,
The Dalit,
The Dalit priestess of my heart?

In the temple of the heart,
She coming, coming to worship
With the flowers of reverence,
Reverence,
The Dalit,
The Dalit princess,
The princess of my heart,
My heart
When the heart is a temple,
A temple
And she a priestess,
A priestess in love?

You say it,
Say it,
What to do,
What to do with,
Should I accept her offerings
Or turn it down,
Should I accept her floral tributes
Or not,
Should I accept her worship
Or not,
Should I love hder
Or not?
