The Dance Poem by soren Barrett

The Dance

Some see a fight between light and night
I see a dance
The more bright the sight, the darker the shadow of plight
The pendulum does advance
The melody's not wrong, all belong, it's the timing of your song
Listen to its beat then prance
In the throng, be strong, as you go along
Be in balance not askance
If skeptical, inflexible or too conventional
Your feet won't stand a chance
Let your response be intestinal, not just intellectual
Multidimensional is the dance
