The Dancing Silhouette Poem by Saleh Ben Saleh

The Dancing Silhouette

I saw in the distance blue velvet lights, on those snow covered mountain heights

It was a bright figure or a silhouette, dancing with great joy at sunset

A faint voice that flowed with the wind, whispered a magic tone that had no end

The words that followed did sound unclear, as surrounding voices began to cheer

But the dancing silhouette shouted out loud, these are the words that make us proud

"May all good rejoice and dance they shall, may all evil burn in the fires of hell"

His words echoed as I briefly glanced, with joy the silhouette continue to dance

As the darkness of night began to appear, the dancing silhouette did disappear

That was the last I saw of the silhouette, but those magic moments are hard to forget
