The Darkness.
This is such a lonely place,
so dark and dreary here.
You're in a place where the moonlight shines,
What I'd give to be there.
I remember the days when I'd look at you,
and know all would be okay.
I see my wrongs at second sight,
and I feel up with shame.
I've no idea what I had done
to deserve a life this way,
but I know I will find no peace
'til at rest my body lay.
very tranquil and romantic. Simple but nicely written.
We all feel this way at times, but we don't need to wait until our last breath before we find peace, we just need to look inside and change our way of thinking. You may like to read mine entitled Meditation. Great write Misty.
