The Day Hours Though Tick Tame Poem by Lajpat Chawla

The Day Hours Though Tick Tame

The day hours though tick tame,
As if in arms of a pristine dame.
The thunders gather on my roof,
As the Sun gets away aloof.
Trampled by a speeding hoof.
I rush like crazy to your lane.
The day hours though tick tame,
As if in arms of a pristine dame.
I down the curtain shut the door.
To forbid the dusk getting in more.
I hear a giggle, I hear a voice.
Open your curtain, open your door.
Hi I am dusk, pitch black I pour.
I play a number with weepy shades,
The day hours though tick tame,
As if in arms of a pristine dame.
I play a number with weepy shades,
The reign of sorrow still pervades
Your still prevail in my frame.
The day hours though tick tame,
As if in arms of a pristine dame.
