I woke and found the world was wide,
The sky a deeper shade of blue,
The winds that whispered by my side
Spoke truths I long but never knew.
The burdens of my heart grew light,
For I had learned to let them go,
And in the tender morning light
My soul began at last to grow.
I saw the sorrow in each face,
But in their eyes, the hope shone clear—
That love, not time, would heal the space
Where kindness had erased their fear.
