இருவிகற்ப நேரிசை வெண்பா
இழந்தபொருள் நல்லுழைப்பின் எய்தலாம் என்ப;
இழந்தசுகம் இன்மருந்தின் என்ப; - இழந்தமதி
எய்தலாம் கல்வியினால் என்ப! இழந்தநாள்
எய்துவதோ எந்நாளும் இல்!
