The Day Of Slaughter Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

The Day Of Slaughter

Rating: 4.0

From the heaven it came,
On the earth it fell,
The end of all things!
The pride of life,
The lust of the eyes,
The heavens and the earth will be dissolved.

What er have heard,
What we have seen,
What we have written,
What we have read,
Of the lust of the flesh! !
Out of water and, through the water;
Flooded with water.

A light that shines in a dark place!
Hospitality,
To be vigilant;
A clear conscience,
Followers of what is right.

The end,
Doers of what is wrong;
To live in the flesh! !
Of nations,
Of tribes,
Of peoples and tongues!
The day of slaughter is bear.
