The Day That I Fly Poem by Holly Jamestone

The Day That I Fly

I went to your grave
I called out your name
I wept for your passing
Life not quite the same

You never were there
You had long since flown high
In arms of the Angels
Toward heavenly sky

I went to your grave
As your memory I kept
I thought of your smile
But sadly I wept

But then I remembered
Your place in the sky
And knew you would meet me
The Day That I Fly
The Day That I Fly
The Day That I Fly
