The Death Of A King Poem by Dorsey Baker

The Death Of A King

The king wears
A complex false face
Disguised a fragile
Mental state

His evil thoughts
He can no longer rule
And that is what
Has made him
Become a fool

Sowing the seed
A heart so full of greed
The monster suddenly awaken
Taking steps
That should never
Have been taken

The life of the living
Becomes
The death of the dead
When he loses his mind
He loses his head!
