The Death Of Me
The death of me will be above my waist
Beginning at the orifice I call my mouth
The chemicals that will stop my breath entering there
Mixed with tainted and polluted air
They will migrate south of north
briefly settling in my indefatigable stomach
Bypass all protocols and go straight to the medulla oblongata
Send emissaries of misery in a poisoned chalice to the liver to deliver a death message
Cirrhosis with osmosis being the medium by which i shall feel it in my swollen feet
The heart swollen with pride
with cholesterol you cannot debride
Arteries like jammed artillery
More of the happy hours giving illusions of powers
Until comes the silence
The death of me
