The Deceivers Poem by Shaun Cronick

The Deceivers

Rating: 5.0

They are one and the same,
Both of a cold hybrid mind.
Their thoughts are simply one,
Of clinical deeds maligned.

Never ever any true tears,
Only those of a crocodile.
Talking tall tales of woe,
Behind a hidden wide smile.

Seeking always the innocents,
Relentlessly target all gullible,
With a façade of abject poverty,
Oh! Of their plight so terrible.

Two sinful peas in a sinful pod,
A pair of most diabolical deceivers.
Now finally caught and imprisoned,
Justice now for their once believers.

A vivid portrayal of a great deceiver. Yes, deceivers must be abhorred and penalized. We must be vigilant and protect ourselves from these evildoers. A well crafted and conveyed write Great rhyme as always.
