The Deep Corner Poem by Marilyn Jean

The Deep Corner

Sometimes maybe even too often
I see myself in the deep corner
Of your eye, just here believe me
I see on your shoulder a worry
What is going on? The big question
I am deeply sorry, always so truly
Please stop one minute very gently
Rest here for a breath or maybe two
Be here with me an instant, pause
Then let us soon after smile freely
